About

Together with staff, pupils and governors we have written our Vision Statement, in order for us to continue to work together to achieve positive outcomes.

We are a junior school situated on the south side of Ripon in North Yorkshire catering for children from 7 to 11 years of age. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and kind. Currently, our 142 pupils are split into six classes; these are enhanced by dedicated staff who provide a broad and balanced curriculum for the pupils in our care.

Our main infant feeder school is Moorside Infants which is located on the same site. The schools have good links and have a number of activities arranged each year to develop a smooth transition from year 2 into year 3.

The school prides itself on its level of inclusion for all children and has the highest official recognition for this with the Inclusion Quality Mark grade 3 which was awarded in June 2013.

If you are new to the area and are looking for a school, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd be delighted to show you around.
